Litem presents new NewTOR series torsional fatigue machines.
In the video is presented a fatigue test on a torsion spring, in which the load profile was generated according to the specifications required for the component. The Profile EDITOR software tool was used along with the RTC 9000 controller and the SS 9000 control software.
The NewTOR family torsional testing systems use Brushless or Torque motors. The direct coupling, without gearboxes (direct drive), avoid the backlash and reduces the inertia of the rotating masses making these systems ideal for high load fatigue tests and high test frequencies.
